Jim Clark

Photograph of Jim Clark

My passion for photography started whilst serving in the Royal Marines, where during 24 years of service, I was trained as a photographer and an expedition video/cine camera operator, amongst other things. I continue to travel the world extensively, both in the course of photographic assignments and my day job, which is exploring the worlds’ oceans using remotely operated submersible vehicles. I am not too fond of negative people and like to associate myself with can do, trustworthy and honest people. I’m always interested in helping others, especially those less fortunate. When not travelling or on the high seas, I love spending quality time at home in Scotland with my wife and my wee West Highland Terrier called Ghillie. I enjoy Diving, Rugby, Sailing, Travel Writing, Munro bagging, Fine Wine and the occasional dram of Islay Malt Scottish whisky.
