Born in 1966 and raised in Arnhem, the second world war was never far away. There were, and still are, many visble scars in this area. I now live in Gennep and also here the war is never far away. Over the years I have met some veterans who were touched when you know where they fought and where their friends fell. With Belgium only 2 hours drive away the first world war is also very close where many young men fell for our freedom. Through TWGPP , at last I can do something back for them and their families. How little and how late it is but this way they will never be forgotten. I will be helping take photographs in the areas of North Limburg and East Gelderland
