Born in Abbotsbury Dorset in 1942 Trade Training at RAF St Athan Occupation, UK: Engine Mechanic and Aircraft Fitter (Propulsion) in the RAF from 19 March 1959 to 10 February 1969. Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (Engines and Airfame) in General Aviation from February 1969 to August 1972. Occupation, Australia: Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (Engines and Airfame) in General Aviation from September 1972 to 24 October 1973. Licensed Aircraft Maintenance Engineer 25 October 1973 to August 1983. Airworthiness Surveyor with the Civil Aviation Safety Authority and it’s predecessors from August 1983 till retirement in February 2007. Marital status: Married with two daughters, two stepdaughters and nine (soon to be ten) grandchildren Melbourne
