My name is Pieter Schlebaum. I was born in 1988 in Rotterdam and I still live in a town nearby. Since I was young I am interested in the Second World War. This has resulted in a study history, which I follow for two years now. Besides this I am writing articles for one of the websites from STIWOT. This is a Dutch historical organisation which occupies itself with spreading information about World War Two. Occasionally, I do also write articles about the war for a magazine. Another part of my interest in World War Two is visiting war graves and cemeteries. When I heard about the War Graves Photographic Project I applied myself as a volunteer. I support the project by photographing gravestones in Zuid-Holland.

Volunteers

The project relies solely on volunteer help. If you believe you can help in any way (photographing, admin, sponsorship, etc) then please contact us. If you would like to help with the photography please download the Guidance and Volunteer policy PDF via link on the volunteers page.
