Dave served in the Royal Military Police from 1979 to 1995 having served in Germany, UK, Belize and Gibraltar. A military historian, he has a major interest in researching all things military and photography utilising both for projects including book and website. Has been visiting cemeteries and churches throughout the North east and Cumbria for over 3 years recording War Graves & family memorials as well as former wartime sites. A member of the RMP Association has recently returned from visiting Suda Bay Commonwealth War Cemetery and Normandy sites including Ranville (photograph), Jerusalem and Bayeaux(largest in Normandy). He is currently involved as a volunteer at Blyth Battery a complete coastal gun battery at Blyth in Northumberland.
