I'm a public servant, aged 42, living with my wife Glenda and 19 yr old daughter Jemma-Leigh. My interest stemmed from researching information about my uncle who fell in Italy in the last months of WW2. I also have a interest in amateur photography and my wife and I both find cemeteries interesting. We are both from other parts of New Zealand and the history in local resting places is an insight into our chosen home here in Auckland. The participation in this project is an honor, as the CWGC has been invaluable in telling the story of my family in war.
The project relies solely on volunteer help. If you believe you can help in any way (photographing, admin, sponsorship, etc) then please contact us. If you would like to help with the photography please download the Guidance and Volunteer policy PDF via link on the volunteers page.
