Details: Killed in action at Rabbit Wood near Seres on the Struma 6th December 1916. Age 20. Born at Bushire Persia. Son of the late John Brown Muir of Bushire and of Agnes R. A. Muir of 26 Gressenhall Rd. Southfields London. Joined London Scottish Aug. 1914. Severely wounded at Messines 30th Oct. 1914. Also served at Suvla Bay Gallipoli and in Egypt.
