Details: 16th May 1915. Age 28. (Served as HARDY). Son of Col. A. W. Smart (R.E.) and Mrs. Smart of "Redcroft" Spencer's Green Tring Herts. Enlisted as (G/4034) Pte. Thomas Hardy. 2nd Bn. The Queen's and restored to the service by H.M. "London Gazette" Aug. 6th 1915. Panel 4 and 5.
