Details: Died of wounds received at Loos 30th September 1915. Age 22. Son of Maj. Archibald Alexander Gordon C.B.E. M.V.O. and Maude Gordon of Monksbarn Maugersbury Stow-on-the-Wold Glos. Born at The Old Mill Coalstoun East Lothian. Educated Haileybury and Sidney Sussex College Cambridge University. Studying for Holy Orders when war broke out and at once joined up. I. B. 17.
