Details: Killed in action, in an air combat between Souchez and Carency 28-Oct-1917 Aged 20 Son of Samuel and Anne Keir, of "Rossmore," Scotforth Rd., Lancaster. Born at Huddersfield. Was commissioned in Dec., 1914, while serving in the O.T.C. at the Lancaster Royal Grammar School. VI. J. 2.
