Details: 28-Oct-1914 Aged 26 Son of William Lindsay Oliver, of 56, Greenwood Lane, Wallasey, Cheshire, and the late Eliza Lily Oliver. Enlisted at 14 years of age as bugler in 6th V.Bn. The King's Liverpool Regt. and served six years, attaining rank of Serjt. Subsequently served four years as Pte. with Duke of Lancaster's Own Yeomanry. Panel 11.
