Details: D C M Killed in action at Battle of Ypres 28-Apr-1915 Aged 46 Long Service and Good Conduct Medal. Son of the late John William Harrington (Serjt. Major 3rd Bn. King's Royal Rifles) and Ellen Harrington; husband of Florence Margaret Harrington, of 16, Arnos Villas, Bowes Rd., New Southgate, London. Served in the South African campaign. One of six brothers who, with their father, served in the King's Royal Rifle Corps. Addenda Panel 57.
