Details: Mentioned in Despatches Killed in action 07/08/15 Age 41 IV. F. 17. Son of Thomas and Anne Lloyd (nee Campbell), of Leghorn, Italy, and Minard, Argyll.; husband of Phyllis Lloyd. Born at Bagni di Lucca, Italy. Joined the Royal Welch Fusiliers as 2nd Lt. in 1896. Retired as Capt. in 1911. Recalled at the outbreak of war and embarked for Gallipoli 28th June, 1915.
