Details: Killed in action at Chunuk Bair 10-Aug-1915 Aged 40 Son of Col. Johnson William Savage (late Royal Engineers) and Ann Elizabeth Savage (nee Wilson), of Box Grove, Guildford. Served in the South African Campaign. Medal and three clasps. Joined the 10th Bn. voluntarily, having served in 2nd Bn. 15 years. Panel 125-134 or 223-226 228-229 & 328.
