Details: 12/12/17 Aged 31 Plaque 24 Killed in action protecting convoy in North Sea Born at Winchester. Son of the late M. J. Ransome and Mary Elizabeth Ransome (nee Wodehouse). Served in "Indomitable," "Victor," "Carysfort," and "Partridge" during the war. Escorted "Hampshire" with Lord Kitchener on board, until ordered to return.
