Details: 01/11/14 Aged 29 Plaque 1 Killed in action at Battle of Coronel Son of Frances Adelaide Stoney (formerly Owens), of "Glenthorne," Swanmore Rd., Ryde, Isle of Wight, and the late Dr. John Owens (General Practitioner). Twice mentioned for exceptional services rendered whilst Secretary to Rear-Admiral Sir Christopher Cradock, K.C.V.O., C.B., during the disturbances in Mexico in 1914.
