Details: 31/05/16 Plaque 11 Killed in action at Battle of Jutland Son of Mrs. Geoghegan of Sliema, Malta, and the late Stannus Geoghegan; husband of Mrs. I. A. Downs (formerly Geoghegan), of Arun House, Climping, Littlehampton, Sussex. Educated at Neuwied, Germany, Queen's College, Galway and Trinity College, Dublin (B.A., M.D.). Translator of the German book "Bacteria" by Dr. Max Schottelius. Made five round trips in the P.S.N.C. before entering the Navy.
