Details: Died of wounds received at Gouzeaucourt on 3rd April. 17th April 1917. Age 25. Elder son of Sidney Middleton Taylor and Mary Elizabeth Taylor of Four Oaks Warwickshire. Educated at Lickey Hills Schools and Uppingham. A director of Messrs. Heaton and Taylor Ltd. of Birmingham. He joined the Royal Warwickshire Regt. at the outbreak of war and was gazetted to the Worcestershire Regt. in Jan. 1915. Previously wounded in the Autumn of that year at the Hohenzollern Redoubt. Officers B. 5. 30.
