Details: Killed in action 17th April 1918. Age 19. Son of Marie Victoire Higgins (nee Donnay) of 44 Rue de L'Amazone Brussels and the late John E. Higgins. Aged 16 when he left Brussels at the end of 1914. He passed the German lines and in 1915 volunteered in the British Army. Wounded four times and finally reported killed in the defence of Mount Kemmel. Addenda Panel.
