Details: 25th September 1915. Age 29. Son of the late J. R. Macpherson B.D. Parish Minister of Dengwall Ross-shire and of Margery Louisa Macpherson of 28 Braid Crescent Edinburgh. A graduate of Edinburgh University (M.B.Ch.B.). Received a commission in R.A.M.C. Aug. 1914. In January 1915 he resigned his Commission for a Commission in Seaforth Highlanders. Held record for hammer throwing of Scottish Universities and the Gold Medal of the Inter-Territorial Sports Sydenham 1910. Panel 112 to 115.
