Details: 19th February 1917 XXI G 2 Walter and Thomas Addison enlisted in the 33rd Battery, Canadian Field Artillery in November 1915 but were later transferred to 3rd Division ammunition column. Although having no previous military experience and despite his young age, Walter was promoted to Corporal but within 2 years he would be dead from pneumonia at the age of 20. Prior to enlisting, he had been a teller at the Royal Bank branch at Gerrard and Main in east-end Toronto. Source: The Toronto Star
