Details: lost in S.S. Rooseboom (Netherlands) 01/03/42 Age 35 Column 403. Son of the Revd. Gerald Marchant Davis, M.A., and Grace Muriel Davis; husband of Edith Elsie Davis, of Langton Matravers, Dorsetshire. Awarded the King's Police Medal for distinguished service, 1st January, 1938.
