Details: Killed in action 12th October 1916. Age 20. Son of Algernon St. Albans Smith and Mary Smith (nee Deune) of White House Gore's Landing Ontario. Educated at St. Alban's School Brockville Ontario of which he was Captain and Gold Medallist. Entered Royal Military College Kingston Ontario Aug.311914 and in June 23rd1915 passed out having been granted a commission in the Canadian Field Artillery. Born at Peterborough Ontario. I. C.12.
