Details: 23rd June 1945 Additional Picture submitted by Len Leclair Born July 18th, 1919 Copper Cliff, Ontario Canada Enlisted July 17th, 1941. Basic training Camp Borden, Ontario. Assigned to the 5th Armoured Division Royal Canadian Ordinance Corps 57th L.A.D Arrived in England December 1941. Served in Italy transfered to the RCEME remained with 57th L.A.D. Left Italy February 1945 disembarked in France March 1945 Wounded in action at the battle of Otterloo Holland April 17th, 1945. Died of his wounds June 23rd 1945.
